Any person departing or entering the Kingdome shall declare to the Customs Department any transported cash or bearer negotiable instruments (BNIs) exceeding
the threshold of ten thousand Dinars (10,000) or its equivalent in foreign currencies by completing a declaration form prepared for this purpose.
This requirement to declare shall apply to the physical cross-border transportation, including mail and freight.
Declaration of Cross- border transportation of currency and BNIs is mandatory under the provisions of Article (23-A) of the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Law No. (20) for the year 2021.
Failure to declare or making false declaration by providing deceptive information will subject you to legal liability.
