Website development
This project aims to develop the electronic Customs website ( WWW.CUSTOMS.GOV.JO ), which is to develop the site's infrastructure to suit the needs of public e-government services and to develop e-Customs services provided to the customers of the department and its employees. It aims to improve the provision of electronic service in terms of efficiency and speed, accurate information and attractive design templates that make it easier for customers to interact with the services on the website.
New electronic services have been developed for the new recipients (a system for exemption of disabled persons, vehicles price entry system by brand agents, inspection system, and financial claims inquiry system) and the updating of the contents of the website
The website was awarded of the technological innovation of the e-government shield at the level of the Arab government websites.
The website was launched with high-quality technologies in addition to social media in 2017.
